After joining the coach via one of our departure points or our executive Door2Door service, you will be introduced to your professional driver and whisked away in comfort to the pretty resort of Skegness. We aim to arrive between 3-4pm so that you can relax before your evening meal and settle down for your first night.

Today we take a magical journey through Lincolnshire Wolds, a range of hills boasting the highest points in eastern England and designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty due to its breathtaking grasslands and abandoned chalk pits which are an important habitat for rare flowers and insects and areas of fine mixed woodland that have managed to conserve their traditional oak, ash and  hazel coppice. Our first stop of the day is the bustling market town of Louth, a perfect lunch spot with its winding streets, pretty market place and charming Alford with its quaint 14th Century church.  We then journey back to the coast for time in Maplethorpe, a glorious sandy beach resort and the    perfect place to browse the local shops, take afternoon tea or stroll along the seafront with a locally made ice cream.

Today we head to the capital of Lincolnshire, the historic  cathedral town of Lincoln. Although relatively small, Lincoln is delightfully enchanting and steeped in history. It's triple towered cathedral dominates the skyline from its hilltop location and the original old walls line the towns streets with many preserved medieval houses to marvel at. From here we travel to Horncastle, a bustling and attractive market town, renowned for its antique shops, with a fine heritage and unspoilt by modern developments.

Make the most of the wonderful food that is on offer for breakfast this morning. After a fabulous holiday, it's time to bid farewell to your hosts and Skegness for your journey home, taking wonderful memories with you.
