This blog contains InterChoice Holiday's top five UK tourist attractions for you to enjoy in 2020; these top 5 UK tourist attractions have been chosen based on our years of industry knowledge and experience in providing award-winning UK holidays.

Whether you're enjoying a getaway by yourself, with friends or loved ones, the UK has many different attractions to make memories that last a lifetime.

To find out how you can enjoy a UK holiday with InterChoice without breaking the bank, check out our previous blog covering this topic!

The Roman Baths

A stroll through Bath is like visiting an open-air museum, with roughly 5,000 buildings in the city drawing notice for their architectural merit. Included within this range of stunning buildings is the Roman Baths; it is simply not to be missed amongst the other amazing historical tourist attractions in the city!

The Roman Baths are a preserved thermae spa built between 60-70CE by the Romans who were fascinated by the hot springs which percolated through the limestone aquifers. This site is as historic and exciting as it sounds, to find out more, check out this page!

While we don't have any holidays planned to Bath in the next few months, feel free to get in touch with the InterChoice team to find out how we can create your dream UK holiday!

This prehistoric monument is based in Wiltshire (which is two miles west of Amesbury) and consists of standing stones which stand up to 4m high in a ring. Each of these rocks is around 25 tonnes and was constructed around between 3000 BC and 2000 BC.

This attraction is one of InterChoice's favourites as it never fails to amaze and remains in pristine condition due to being within UNESCO's list of World Heritage Sites. There are not many places in the world, let alone the UK, which have this kind of wow factor in such a natural, beautiful scenic area!

South Lakes, The Lake District

The South Lakes area (also known as the Windermere area) of the Lake District is a 20-minute drive of Windermere Lake. It has some of the most exciting and varying activities for every member of your party in one of the most stunning areas of the UK.

One thing we love about South Lakes, and one of the main reasons that this area made it onto our top 5 attractions in the UK, is the combination of friendliness and variety. Whether you want to explore historical sites of beauty or eat some world-class food, South Lakes has it all!

InterChoice Holidays has some fantastic trips planned to the area over the next 12-months for excellent prices. All of our holidays are a short drive from South Lakes and the rest of the Lake District and have been tailored to provide the best value for your party.

The pick of the trips we have planned is County Hotel - Kendal, a 5-day trip to a stunning hotel that is guaranteed to please in April 2021. Check out this link or get in touch to find out more!

The Tower of London

The Tower of London is an absolute classic and will be found on pretty much every tourist attraction guide due to its history, location and breathe taking stature.

This is a particular favourite of the InterChoice team due to its location; in central London, you are a stone's throw away from so many other tourist hotspots that The Tower of London is the cherry on top of a fantastic city!
