Detailed Overview

Yarmouth is an understatedly pretty port and not only the first recorded town on the Isle of Wight, but also the very first port to be discussed in the Domesday Book. The historic town is a popular  gateway to the Isle of Wight. It has an enviable position at the mouth of the River Yar and contains some of the oldest architecture on the Isle of Wight, including a 16th Century castle.

Tour Itinerary
Day One - Arrival Day:

After joining the coach via one of our departure points or our executive Door2Door service, you will be introduced to your professional driver and whisked away in comfort to the pretty resort of Isle of Wight. We aim to arrive between 3-4pm so that you can relax before your evening meal and settle down for your first night.

Day Two - Full Day Excursion:

After breakfast we head inland to Newport, the principle town of the Isle of Wight. A lively town steeped in beauty and history, there is so much to provide you with a lovely day out. The town boasts two elegant squares with contrasting Georgian and Victorian architecture in abundance, historic visitor attractions including Carisbrooke Castle and Newport Roman Villa and a fine mix of high street and independent stores.

Day Three - Free Day in Resort:

Free time to explore the resort of Isle of Wight.

Day Four - Full Day Excursion:

Today we head out for a breathtaking coastal drive enjoying miles and miles of beautiful sea views from the east to west coast. First we journey to Alum Bay home of the famous 21 coloured sands. Take a ride on the chair lift down to the beach and enjoy spectacular views of the dramatic Needles rock formation and traditional lighthouse. From here we continue along the coast taking in spectacular views towards our next stop of Ventor and St Boniface Down, the highest point on the Isle of Wight. Enjoy a stroll around the pretty harbour, superb cascade gardens and bandstand.

Day Five - Departure Day:

Make the most of the wonderful food that is on offer for breakfast this morning. After a fabulous holiday, it's time to bid farewell to your hosts and Isle of Wight for your journey home, taking wonderful memories with you.
